How to Donate

You can donate in one of 3 ways

1. Donate through your employer's donation portal. If your employer matches charitable contributions, you maybe able to request a match only if you donate through the portal they have setup. If you have questions, please email Treasurer@PSGTechAlumni.org

2. Donate currency using Zelle, Paypal or by writing a check. For details, please email Treasurer@PSGTechAlumni.org

3. Donate stock via StockDonator.com

   1. There are several advantages to donating stock. You get to take the full value of the donated stock as a charitable contribution. You avoid paying capital gains on the donated stock units.

   2. The process is simple

      1. Surf over to https://stockdonator.com/donate-stock-online-now/

      2. Enter the Stock symbol and Quantity

      3. Select North American PSG Tech Alumni Association in the Organization field and click Next

      4. Enter your contact details and click Next

      5. StockDonator will send a verification code to your email. Use that to validate your email.

      6. In the next screen, specify the name of your Brokerage and your account details (Account name and number)

      7. Verify the donation details, sign and submit

      8. You will be provided a transaction number. Please capture it for records

      9. StockDonator will prepare the paper forms and email them to you. The paper forms will authorize your brokerage firm to transfer the stated number of shares out of your account into StockDonator's account at the same brokerage. Once transferred, StockDonator will sell the shares and credit the amount to North American PSG Tech Alumni Association

      10. When signing the paper forms, you must specify the Lot for the shares you want to transfer. You typically want to donate out of the earliest Lot you acquired. That said, your individual situation may vary. Please consult your CPA.

      11. Once completed, please upload the form into your brokerage's form upload utility. This will be mentioned in the form itself... and, that's it.
